This page explains what data doqas.com collects, why, and how you can control it. The site is run by Doqas. Questions about your data: practical.skills.01@gmail.com.
The short version
- Without your consent the site sets no cookies and sends nothing to third parties.
- If you click “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics counts which pages are read.
- YouTube videos load only when you click play.
- You can change your choice at any time with the button in “Your cookie choice” below.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which tips people read and where visitors come from. It runs only on doqas.com and only after you click “Allow analytics”. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
When it runs, Google Analytics:
- sets two cookies in your browser,
_gaand_ga_<id>, to tell visits apart. They expire after 2 years; - records the pages you view, how you reached the site, your device type and model, browser, operating system and screen resolution;
- uses your IP address to estimate your country, region and city. For visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Google discards the IP address right after that and does not store it.
Google keeps event data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months; the 14 months restart if you come back. We don’t use Google signals, advertising features or user IDs, and we don’t combine this data with anything else. Google processes the data on its servers, which may be outside the EU. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your cookie choice
Your answer to the cookie banner is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key doqas-consent and never sent to us. The button below brings the cookie banner back so you can choose again. If you withdraw consent, the site deletes the Google Analytics cookies and stops loading it.
YouTube videos
Posts show a preview image served from our own server. The YouTube player loads only after you click play, from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. From that moment the Google Privacy Policy applies to the video.
Hosting
The site runs on a server in Germany. Fonts and images are served from the same server, so loading a page does not contact Google or other services. To deliver pages, the server necessarily receives your IP address and browser details; we don’t keep access logs of these requests.
Your rights
You can ask what data about you exists, ask to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to practical.skills.01@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes too.
